Should I give up or just keep chasing pavements, even if it leads nowhere?

I am currently reading 'Lush Life' by Richard Price, the author behind 'Clockers' and a co-writer on "The Wire".  Set on the Lower East Side, the book sucked me in with the complex characters, smooth dialogue and a vivid mental image of the current scenery, players and culture in the LES. When I walk past 27 Eldridge and eat at Schillers, I will always think of Eric Cash, et al.  If you are looking for a good read, go and pick this up. xx
